On February 5 to 7, 2010 Calgary will welcome the Salsa world’s best International performers and world famous Salsa Promoter Albert Torres for a weekend of Workshops, Performances, Salsa Music, Dancing, and a qualifying competition for the ESPN World Salsa Championships.

3 nights of hot music and dancing with Alberta’s hottest DJ’s at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

After travelling to congresses all over North America, and hosting our second International congress last year, we are excited to bring our very own back to Calgary for a third year!; we have put great thought into our favorite artists, and the touches that have made past congresses enjoyable for us. Join us for our warm-up party and welcome some of our international guests to town. Also featuring the Calgary Salsa Congress Fashion Show with looks from the collections of the Calgary congress fashion vendors.

Special Workshop with Tara-Jean Popowich the 2009 winner of So You Think You Can Dance CANADA. Join Tara Jean for a special workshop ($20) "How to win So You Think You Can Dance" part lecture, part dance class, join Tara Jean for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
